About Robert Brown

Robert began his lifelong dedication to immigration in 1972 when he began his journey as a special agent in New York City. Having worked with many foreign nationals developed a deep understanding and respect for the persons seeking to migrate to the US. Understanding the difficulties a person faces leaving their homeland to set up a life in a strange world, Robert determined that the immigration law process should be made as simple as possible and the new arrivals be welcomed. Robert has set out to use his vast experience to facilitate the process treating each individual with respect. Robert often speaks of an incident during his first year with immigration in 1972. While traveling in another country Robert was approached by a man whom Robert did not recognize. The man said his path had crossed with Robert’s in New York City where Robert had been working as a special agent with INS. Robert became somewhat apprehensive since Robert was now the stranger in another country. Robert’s apprehension was soon put as ease when the man said, “You treated me with respect when I met you in New York, thank you.” The man went on to offer to buy Robert a drink. Robert never forgot the incident and made it his goal to always respect the needs of others. He continues to enjoy bringing a case to a satisfactory conclusion for his clients.

In Robert’s opinion an immigration law attorney should be prepared to listen to the client and be in the practice area for what can be done for the client and not for what can be gained by the attorney.
